Glorious Legacy of 80 Years (1944-2024)
South Konkan Education Society Belgaum is a renowned institution in the field of education in Karnataka. Many students of this institution are making their name and the name of the institution bright in different ways. This institution has a history of 80 years. After the success of many institutions in Belgaum, S.K.E. Society has started a college in Chandigarh in Maharashtra. It intends to run many courses with 100% career. One of them is BCA, which has been started from 2024-25. In the way that R.P.D College and G.S.S. College in Belgaum have progressed on the basis of excellent education, S.K.E. BCA College in Chandigarh is also on the path of progress. The college is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. It is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. It is also affiliated to AICTE New Delhi. Spacious classrooms, library, computer lab with 60 computers. Student transportation facilities, highly educated and experienced professors and many other things are available here.
To further help deserving but needy students, the S.K.E. Society has set up the South Konkan Empowerment Charitable Foundation out of its own resources, and gives scholarships and prizes every year to meritorious as well as to needy students. Generous donations to this fund from Col. Ramnathkar, Shri A.K. Kalburgi, Shri U. A. Digikar and many other donors including Staff and Management members, have helped the Society to enhance the assistance given every year. The Foundation also supports organizations which take care of special children and helps out during natural calamities as well.
Just like the youth who passed through our halls, the SKE Society and its institutions have grown and evolved over the years. However, we have a long way ahead of us and would encourage our alumni to support our students in any way possible. There are buildings to be built and students’ fees to be paid. Give to the future generations what the past has given to you.
